Anyone know of someone around Chattanooga that works on Motorguide trolling motors or where I can order parts from a local place?

John Swallows in Cleveland is the man ETM Trolling motor repair is his business name he works a regular job so leave him a message and he will call u back after 5

John is the man when it comes to Trolling Motors. Give him a shot. He has repaired several for me and my friends. He also does it at a reasonable price. emoThumbsup

depends on whats wrong with it. I broke a gear in mine and bought the parts and was back in business in no time. Ditchdoc helped me take it apart but it was much easier than I expected to get it back together and on the water.

What's wrong with it Larry? some fixes are easy like on Craig's gears but if it's in the motor itself then call ETM,John Swallows has fixed mine before and is great ,let me know and we will see if it's a easy fix or not.Taylor

If its warranty work, John isnt certified with them anymore. :( I know this because I had to take mine all the way to Kingston to get it worked on! BOOOOO Motorguide!!

He told me he was still doing warranty work, but mine ran out of warranty of February of 09. emoDoh

I'd like to thank everyone for the advice I received on my trolling motor. I took it to John Swallows and he replaced the damaged parts. I cannot tell it was ever damaged, it operates as well as when new. John is a very friendly and helpful person as well as a professional repairman.
