Broken Rod

Does anyone on here know if a rod can be repaired? I broke off about 3 inches of my Shimano Compre spinning rod. I would like to know if I can send it to Shimano and have it repaired. I don't want to just trash it.

Take it anywhere that sales shimanos. They will swap it out. It has a over the counter warrenty

I would try to get it replaced under warrenty. As far as a repair goes one broke that close to the tip all you can do is cut it off and put a guide on it.

Thanks guys, I called Sportsmans Warehouse and they sent it off for me. Should have it back in about 2 weeks.
