Well, finally got back on wagon in the CFF with a win last night. The evening started with a nice spot about 2 1/2 lbs. Then Tonya caught a keeper spot 1 a few minutes later.. Then I caught a squeaker LM around 10pm for our first 3 which ended up all being culled. Motored to a new spot and caught a 3lber and that was our 1st cull, went back to where we started to find a boat close to where I was wanting to fish, I eased behind them and felt a thump and fight was on, that fish for it size jumped at least 2 ft out of water, like a smallie would. We landed and while I was retying my line Tonya said, "I got one," no "I'm hung" she said, no "its a fish" !!! I grabbed the net and it peeling drag pretty good, finally after a horrible net job, we got her in the boat.

Made a decision, to cull spot with a LM a little bigger, bad call on my half ( would've won BF on spot as well) but you never know, so I always go for the sure thing. We finished just shy of 14lbs, With our kicker weighing 6.95.. Thanks to the committee, for another smoothly ran tournament and congrats to all that placed in the money as well...
