They had

the bank of this creek all tore up. All together I estimated the deer
to score well over 400 inches of antler. The biggest one was a massive
6x5, approx 165 inches. the other two were around 130 or so.

They should have all went fishing and forgot about the lady and this would have never happened! I doubt they drowned vey quickly. Probably went one at a time and the third was just stuck and had to give up. What a mess of antlers there.

As stated, I seriously doubtone or all went very quickly. I have seen too many videos of deer completly exahsted dragging a dead deer around, and even if set free, they dont often make it in the end. I can imagine one dying and then two trying to stay alive, and it just gets uglier from there. </p>
