Well, besides fishing with Dixie Boy and the KID, I have on my list to catch the following TARPs which will give me the Master Angler III award.

10 inch Bluegill or better.
20 inch Smallmouth bass
22 inch Largemouth bass

Memory pills so that I don't just weigh big largemouth bass and throw them back without measuring them. I know that I would have had 2 tarp lm bass if I had just remembered to measure them before chunking them back in the water. A 7 lber that was caught on Sequoia bluff with Corky, 3 springs ago and a 5'14" this past fall. emoBang

Before the TARP program came along, I probably had 3 Small mouth Bass over 20 inches at Watts Bar back in the 70's.

The TARP fish that I have to date are:

Black Crappie
White Crappie
Spotted Bass
Blue Catfish
Pet Drum
Red Eared Sunfish aka Shell cracker
Yellow Perch

I also have several black nosed crappie over 14", but the state doesn't recognize them as a tarp yet. They probably count these as black crappie.

What's on your bucket list?

Good question DK! I fish for only Bass too, but I want a 5 lb. spot! That's No. 1 on my very short list! I'm ashamed to have say I've never caught a spot over about 3 lbs. I would like to get a LM over 10 lbs. sometime. I've caught three over 8 but that's it. But if I never do, that's no big deal. And I've caught a bunch of 5 / 6 lb. + SM my best was a 7lb. 4oz. But I just can't find THAT spot!?

Great list DK - Is there a Striped Bass in your future as well?
My list is one fish - I am still in the hunt for that 10lb LM and 6+SM. When I posted the 10lb LM years ago several guys on the forum said forget about getting that bass out of the Chick - well I guess it is not so far fetched anymore LOL! Unfortunately I am like Captain Ahab in search of the great Moby Dick - I have been unable to locate the beast and it swims through my dreams often emoGeezer emoFish emoFish

DK, I'd like to help you get that Master Angler III.

My own list is getting short - and very difficult. I have 19 TARP species (and hundreds of TARP certificates)(at $5 each). The TARPS I still am searching for are:

Walleye (28")
Muskie (40")
Lake Trout (28")
Cherokee Hybrid (28")
Brown Trout (26")

I am also looking to set the next IGFA blue catfish 80 lb line class World Record. Been trying for a few years, but I still think I can do it. At least it gives me a goal to pursue!

Eric, that is a cool list of remaining fish. The nice thing is you should be able to do it and never leave the State of Tennessee waters.

Walleye from Norris, Muskie from Melton Hill, Lake Trout from Chilhowee, Brown trout from the upper Tellico River or possibly the tailwaters of Chilhowee(upper Tellico Lake), The Cherokee Hybrid could possibly be the toughest but there are some good ones in Cherokee Lake and some really good smallmouth if you should get side tracked. Good luck.....
