Buddy almost messed up. emoEek He only managed to put two small keepers in the boat today but with his lead of almost fifteen pounds over the next angler who happened to be his roommate and friend Michael Neal, Buddy was able to stay on top for the win and 100 grand! emoWorthy Michael who had a nice limit fell short by just 3 lbs and 1 oz. of taking Buddy, Neal had a decent pay day also at $30,000.00.

Buddy needed that $100,000.00 pay day! emoThumbsup Congrats to both of them for their 1st and 2nd finishes against some of the best anglers in the business. A shout out also to Andy Morgan of Dayton TN, he came in 11th for $12,000.00. emoApplause Jmax

Does anybody know what kind of mechanical issues Neal had? I just wonder if that hurt him any?

No, he talked about it in one of his interviews and was able to get another boat to fish out of. He said it all worked out and thanked those who had helped him. One of those who did was Buddy Gross.

Yea I seen he was fishing out of a triton. I'm glad to see at least 3 bullets in the top 15.

The computer went out on my motor and it just wouldn't crank. It cost me 3 1/2 hours of fishing time on day 2. It ran fine and then when I got done fishing a place and went to crank up and leave it just wouldn't ever crank.

Thanks for sharing Michael, you never know what that three and a half hours might have given you. emoScratch But it is what it is, Congrats on second and a great finish. emoWorthy Jmax
