I can assure you that this is one very nice Bullet. It is a well loved 1995 XD-20 with a 1999 225 Pro Max. I purchased this boat when it was six months old from a local Pro and have owned it every since.
I installed a new 99 Pro max in 2000 and have never had a problem with it. The motor has 264 hrs on it and it's never been apart. I did have the lower foot replaced with the newer (fat shaft) style. Being a maintenance manager I am a constant tinkerer and this boat has been my beloved baby. The boat has always been kept in a covered carport with a fitted cover over it. In short there are too many updates and improvements to list however the following are some that come to mind:
- The trailer was gone through, new runners, carpet, bearings, stainless bolts, led tail lights, replaced winch special V-Block where boat touches, New ratchet buckles, New aluminum diamond tread plates, new tires including the spare. (The paint shows some fading and touch-up in spots).
- Electronics, has a Lorwrance 332-C color GPS (with two Classic chips), Aircraft running lights, new rinning lights, all new Beed dash gauges along with color bezels and new wood grain. I actually had the wiring system upgraded to the newer Bullet style. By doing so the boat now has all new dash and side switches which are fused at a central fuse panel. This is a OEM Bullet option, professionally done. the charging system is a Stealth, two stage system. a 30 amp AC charger and a system that charges the batteries while you run the big motor. The Stealth system also has the optional digital volt meter that always let you know how you batteries are doing voltage wise. Each compartment has individually controlled lights as well as lite live wells and interior floor lights. The live wells also have pro circulation system along with a newly installed air bubbler system on each side. The batteries are approx one year old and believed to be fine. The boat has an hours meter which was installed when I added the new motor in 2000. it reads 264 hours. There are 4 mounted outlets which accommodate the Black light system. Two Stan Sloan Black Lights are included, each has black and moonlight settings.
- The seats include two butt seats with hydraulic post (which work) along with two full sized seats which also fit the post. There is a center seat included (which I don't use) it can be easily installed if you choose. There are also 3 fixed post included which give you many height options. All seats are in excellent shape with no rips or rot.
- The carpeting is in good shape and shows some wear. The rod straps are new, retractable design. The rod lockers have racks to store your rods and fitted holders for lure storage. There is a retractable bow mounted rope (which is Very handy).
- The wind shield as well as the front and rear deflectors are Bullet options I had added. The steering is hydraulic and works perfect, the boat also has a hot foot. The rear jack-plate is custom made (16" offset-?) along with a plate on the base to aid in setting down and stability at high speeds.
- The motor is a 1999 Pro max short shaft with the sport foot. The prop is a 4-blade, 25 pitch trophy which I just had tuned and polished. A new water pump was installed this past fall and I had the fluids changed.
- The trolling motor is a (new, 2-yrs old) 24 volt Motorguide which includes a two and four blade prop.
- I had a custom made & installed recessed trolling motor box. It also incorporated an eagle depth finder (which works fine).
I'm sure that there is much I have forgot however if you're in the market for a Used Bullet XD-20 you won't find on any sharper looking or maintained any better than this one.
Feel free to call or text Mike @ 423-505-7931 Asking $13,500 but certainly entertaining reasonable offers. (I don't wish to trade it but rather sell it out right)
