Realizing that bunch marine is a sponsor of this forum I'll hold back a little. I'm terribly disappointed in the service after the sale in which I've received. The red flags were evident when it took 3 weeks to get my new boat ready after I bought it. After multiple calls to attempt to reach my salesman and many many messages over the course of a week we finally get in touch and arrange a pickup time. 2 months later the ultrex pukes out. Not their fault by any means, but it took 3 more weeks to get the replacement part. Same situation here, multiple calls with no help or call backs from them. Upon my arrival to the dealership for ultrex repairs I find that for some reason they have my triton listed as a ranger. Simple mistake I guess, but one of many. Guess I should have called minn Kota myself like many in here have. Seems minn Kota has been willing to express ship the part rather than have their customer fish with a remote control for a month.

Failed to mention that had I not called 3 times to follow up on my $500 mercury rebate I'd never seen that either. I was told it must have "fell through the cracks". Luckily after much pestering I got my check just this week.

I really like owner, super nice guy, but his staff leaves much to be desired. Next time I need work on my boat or am in the market for a new one I'll drive 1000 miles before I go back here for anything. Hopefully your experiences have been better than mine have.

To top it all of. My motor only worked for a day.

Can't wait to read their side. I wonder if their "pro" staff is treated any better than a regular Joe is.

I have nothing but good things to say about them
I have been using them for service for about 7 years now
This spring my motor ingested a reed and wiped out the power head

I ended up trading the old boat with bad motor on a new to me 2014 21HP
I was treated more than fair.
I left very happy with the entire process and that included them waiting on me for a house to close

I know Curtis well and have always been happy with the service at Bunch Marine. I would not go anywhere else.

I hate to hear this. Bunch is one of the best dealerships in the country and to hear this is very surprising. You said you would drive a 1000 miles to not do business with them and the reality is they have people that drive 1000 miles to do business with them. I hate to hear this and if I were you I would call Curtis directly and layout all of the issues you have had because I can promise you this isn't the norm at that dealership.

I bought a Triton from them with a Evinrude E-Tec 90 and started having problem with it after it was out of warranty. They had quit selling this boat and had also quit selling Evinrude but as far as they were concerned I was trash and it was my problem. wouldn't even help me with info of where to take it. I'm done and yes I'll drive 1000 miles also before being treated like this again

Fellows I guarantee just for your satisfaction contact Curtis Bunch, he owns it and would rectify any of this ,I've been a part of Bunch marine for many many years, can everyone be pleased,no,but I promise more positive than negative has always been the norm at that buisness,it's been around since the 60's, that says alot! Please contact Curtis or if I can help ,be more than glad to do so,but please.let him know directly the problem, and yes we have folks from as far as texas come by boats and such. Good luck and don't hesitate to call him

I'm not one to complain and then fail to report how the situation is attempting to be remedied... so today Curtis and I spoke about the situation. It was a good conversation and I think we both understand what happened and I was able to voice my frustration with the whole ordeal. As advertised here by others he has offered to help remedy the issue and has offered to go out of his way to do so. We agreed to a path forward, time will tell but I do hope the issues will be resolved concerning the ultrex issue. The other issues are what they are, but the fact that he reached out shows me that does care how customers feel. I'll post the outcome good or bad.

After 2 successful trips, post ultrex repairs, ill call it a successful fix. No issues at all after the boards were replaced. Curtis went out of his way to get this corrected and I appreciate it. Not many would do what they've ultimately done in this situation. If you own an ultrex get it checked out before it fails during a tournament. I've heard they all will eventually fail. Thanks bunch marine.
