I just got this thing for the truck. Anybody eles have one? I am having a hell of a time setting it up.

Hope someone can help.

I will post the review if I can ever get it going.

Well after the very long process of setting this thing up....I was under the impression that the SD card was pre-loaded with the map, but it was not, and you had to do it yourself.

Overall, I give it an exceptable rating, but it does do some crazy stuff every once in a while. I was shocked to see some of the tiniest roads on this thing, yet if your on a "newer" rural highway like HWY 50 from I-24 to Decherd it doesnt follow it correclty, and out of the blue it will start screaming at you to turn left or make a u-turn, but in a couple hundred yards it will have you back on course. I assume it is from the old road making a crazy bend or such? I really dont get that part.

I still have not fully gauged the "Fastest, or shortest" route features yet. I used it to go to Sparta yesterday, and I knew which way I wanted to go to get to town, but it wanted me to take HWY 30 over the mountains from Dayton...NO WAY I would take this route if I am not sight-seeing. After I got to Sparta, it did take me directly to the house I was after, so I like that part. It works well in that respect, but as far as a 100% guidance tool from house to destination, I dont know.

It beats using a map that is for certain! If I can just figure out how to make it find fish...hmmmmm
