Read on the timesfreepress that Cabelas is coming to north Georgia beside the Cosco. Cant post the link from my phone and my internet is down. Maybe someone else can paste the link.

If the tackle selection is anything like the other Cabela's locations, we will all be broke. Better breath than BPS, and of course Sportsman's, Dicks or Academy. Good example is football jigs in 25 packs, where everybody sells four and five packs. Figure the price per jig and it is Cabela's hands down.

That's the best news I had heard in a while. I've never been to a Cabela's store but always wanted to. And that's just about 4 or 5 miles from the house! emoDance emoDance emoDance

It will be good to go look but I'd rather support the smaller shops. Also Cabela's and BPS charge full retail for most everything. Not saying I won't spend a dime there just not paying full retail when I can buy for less.

Wonder why the Tennessee side keeps missing out on stuff? Remember when Budweiser was looking at Bradley Co. For a brewery site?

I would guess the reason they choose Fort O is two fold , one is location and the other is sales tax. The 3% less that you will pat will bring Tn. customers across the state line.
