Cabela's - sneak preview night

A sneak preview of Cabela's new store in Fort Oglethorpe this evening courtesy of Richard Simms. Debbie was the lucky winner of a ticket giveaway offered by Richard this morning and I get to tag along as her guest. Only two tickets were given out so we feel lucky. Deb had already planned to go there Wednesday morning for the grand opening with her daughter-in-law. We were just talking about it this morning before the giveaway which she had no idea had anything to do with Cabela's - strange. We're excited about getting a sneak preview of the store and doing some shopping. We're meeting Richard there at 5:00 pm. Oh no...I know what happens when I spend a fair amount of time in a store like that. I'm like a kid in a candy store. emoDance

I heard you and Sam got some tickets. We had a great time. The prices were a little higher than what I expected and thought they would have more in the fishing department. They are having a giveaway...demonstrations...and a drawing Wednesday morning for the grand opening. What's cool are the six old photos of Richard and his family taken by his dad that are in the cafe and one more in another department. Cabela's did a great job with them. Go check them out.

that was neat. Seemed fairly priced to me but I don't pay very much attention to the bass stuff. The catfish stuff was nice and it was very cool to get my hands on it instead of having to order it not knowing if it is what I really want.

I was super impressed seeing catfish gear that I normally can only find online!
