Cabins on Parksville Lake

Whats the deal with those cabins, I know they are privately owned, or think so anyway. </p>

Are they all boat access only?</p>

I told a buddy of mine about them last year, and he wanted to know if he could buy or build one himself there. emoScratch </p>

If you are going towards Kings Slough, you can get to the cabins on Sugar Loaf Mtn. But most cabins are only boat accessible or I thnk...

I know that some are privatly owned... You'll have to go to the marina up there and ask them about it. I think they are in charge of the cabins.

The cabins are privately owned, but the owners still have to lease the property from the gov'mt.

Whatever you do...dont rent one from the marina....not very nice folks to deal with. I used to rent one there every year and the last year( 2 yrs ago) the people there at the marina were really rude to us. I called the owner...he didnt seem to care. Just my .02!!!!

The owners of the marina happen to be related to the Cleveland Boat Center owners from what I hear... I dont like them much either.
