Call to Duty Bass Tournament

All,

I asking for a little help. The Winchester National Guard Unit is set to deploy to Iraq. They are schedule to attend training en route to Iraq at Camp Shelby in Mississippi. They depart Winchester on 6 Dec 09, they have training until 21 Dec 09 at such time they are can return home for Christmas at their own expense. A group of people and organizations are trying to raise $6,000 to $8,000 to pay for charter bus to bring them all home for Christmas with their families.

All the local Bass Clubs are hosting one huge benefit tournament on 5 Dec 09, to raise the money needed. This tournament will be on Tim's Ford Lake, the ramp will be Devil's Step. Below are details about the tournament. If you can attend great...if you can't please pass the word tell your friends and maybe they can. I understand that that Fish-n-Funs annual tournament is the same weekend but we are out of time for this cause and we where just told of the deployment last 2 weeks ago.

I as a retired Air Force, MSgt, can not think or a better reason to go fishing. These soldiers keep us safe....heres our chance to give a little something back too those who give all when call upon. Besides that I know first hand what its like being away from your family over Christmas....we can make sure this does not happen to these men and women.

I need to make it clear that these soldiers are not asking for this nor would they ever think of asking. Help us give them one last moment with their families before they deploy.

$100 per Team • ALL PROCEEDS GO TO 278th FRG

Payback will be 1 place for every 10 boats and Big Fish

I will be doing a 6'10" bait caster in the spiral wrap design.
Might even do the orange and white wraps.
I will have to use gloves with these colors. lol emoLaugh

The three colors you refer to are very dear to me and I will make this as the wraps. My brother will pick it up on Tuesday.

Hey all...great news today...we have all the funds need except a little to cover any unexpected cost...So this tournament will be at least a 90% payback at the ramp.......

Thanks Bill...Coach donated a custom rod for us to raffle and if we raise above 300-400 with it the payout would be 100% back to the field
