After the liter discusion on this thread, Rude Folks

Rsimms and I got to talking about getting a group of CFF'ers, family and friends together for a massive clean-up effort at Riverpark. The goal: To bring attention to keeping the area clean. This is NOT to place blame, and condemn anyone, but we think education will make a difference. The newspaper, and a news station will most likely be there to document the effort and show that the area sportsman, i.e. CFF members really care about this issue.

We figure if we can get a big group together for it, it wont take an hours time and we can get a serious truck-load of trash picked up.

We do need one very special volunteer for this project, as EricM already said he would be there, and with his reputation around dam's and slippery rocks, he will need somebody to keep an eye on him with a first-aid kit in hand, ready to assist the Ol' coot.

We have some other ideas, and might try and gather a get-together afterwords for all involved, and maybe even a T-shirt order to commemorate the event. This is a feeler thread, and we will get an official thread started at the appropriate time.

The date and time right now will be July 11th at 6pm. This time should work for most folks we hope.

Ideas? Would you come?
