Camping

Would like to camp on the river. As close to the Hiwasee river as possible. A island is preferred but will settle for a campground. Hoping for privacy. boat access and tent sleeping are required.

There's a campground in Meigs called the Agency Creek Campground. It is right before you get to the Hiwassee bridge on 58. There is also another campgound on 58 and I think its just called 58 campground or something. I think you'd be satisfied with both of them. The only thing is the boat access. I think you'd have to launch up at the bridge and drive over to your camping spot and bank it. Anyways that's my two cents worth.
