I love original Stanley Ribbits, so I got some of the new high-floater Stanley Ribbits. I'm not real pleased with them though, as they're kind of foam type material, almost like the consistency of a marshmallow. That and the colors are not very life-like. But then I thought I'd try a new way to fish them--using a Carolina Rig. I only caught one bass on it in the short time I fished the rig, but it looked great worked through the grass flats. The weight pushed through the weeds and kept the frog free of grass. The frog would float up above the weeds until retrieved, at which point it would swim back down into the weeds, kicking the whole way. Not my number one tactic, but something I'll keep in mind for the future.

I didn't care much for the high floaters when I first tried them. Not as much action as the regular Stanley Ribbits and, as you mentioned, the colors and material could have been better. I'll give your presentation a try. Thanks for sharing.
