One thing to remember is that it is a revolver. You should be able to pull the trigger and it go bang. I will agree that the "ultralights" seem to have a lot of recoil. My wife shot the airweight and did not like it, which is why she chose the LC9. One thing about the revolver is that you should be able to get a good price on one. While I am not a Taurus Semi-Auto fan, you can get a 38 revolver from CDNN for $289 or a Taurus CIA .357 hammerless for $299.
