I was out 3 days this week, fishing has remained good even w/ the water temps for most of the week in the mid-upper 50's..... I had full day trip Friday and the water temp started at 56 and finally got up to 61 @ 6pm.

The topwater striper bite has been SLOW in the mornings but has picked up in the evenings. I've caught some good stripers this week free lining big shad or shiners around points and humps on the main lake. The spot bite has been sparatic but good throughout the day on a number of patterns, drop-shots, jerkbaits, spinnerbaits, topwater, jighead worms, and football jigs all produced numbers this week but my bigger fish are still coming off the jerkbait. I've caught spots from topwater to 45ft deep this week so if you are a junk fisherman nows the time to be out there. The Carp bite finally seemed to die this week, 0 Carp. Knock on Wood LOL!

The pic of the spot is from my trip Wednesday, and the other is of my Dad w/ another BIG Largemouth from Carters, he caught the fish Wednesday night on a jig..... This fish was ounces shy of 10lbs! Good luck on the water.

LOL Sorry, LB. I should have cropped the pics before I sent them to you. That's still a mammoth largemouth, but according to LB, Sr., it was ounces OVER 10 lbs. Hmmmmm. Typical bass angler, the thing will be over 11 lbs. come next week!

Thanks for scanning the pics and sending them to me..... I actually meant to say ounces over 10lbs, I'll hear about that for sure.
