Don't waste your time going down to Carters lake as the Corps of Engineers has now closed ALL the boat ramps due to the low lake level. Here is the GON article about it that came out today... http://www.gon.com/article.php?id=1311&cid=158
Nottely has better water quality in the summer anyway but it is falling fast and is now about 25 feet below full pool, so it may be next. I think lake Blueridge is already closed as well but I am not positive of that. Apparently this is the worst drought in our area for over 100 years and the bottom of my jetboat can attest to it.... emoDoh If I could just get my wife to understand that all these boat repair expenses are really not my fault!!!!! emoBigsmile
