Carters Lake Update

I just read on the Lake Allatoona webpage that they are extending a couple of the launches at Carters, and it could be a couple of weeks and you will be able to get on the lake. Has anyone else heard of this? Just curious I would love to get down there this winter.

Scott I posted that on Allatoonabass..... It is true I spoke w/ the COE parks MGR on Monday morning and she was confident that some ramps will be extended in the next couple of weeks. Woodring should be the first ramp finished according to Mrs. Lackey w/ COE..... The only catch here is that just b/c they get the ramps extended, it doesn't mean that the lake will be open. Reason being the water level can rise or fall a ton each day, but having said that I feel confident that Woodring will be open in the next couple of weeks. Like I've said a hundred times, it's useable now w/out problem if they'd just open it.
