Anybody having any luck at Carters Lake since they opened the ramps?

LB said the fishing has been pretty good... I've never fished the lake and would like to here sometime in the Spring.</p>

Fishing has actually been really slow. I've had a slow go and have heard reports of people fishing all day and getting the ole goose egg..... This should be the week when things finally make that push for the good. Atleast I hope so, I cancelled a couple of trips this week due to the slow bite. I was out yesterday most of the day and caught 10 spots none over 2.5lb, everything on jighead worms..... The fish were very inactive as most would just load up on the worm, hard to detect any bites.... all were between 18-30ft deep.

Sounds like Parksville fishing (only caught one bass per trip everytime up there this year)... Maybe the bass will react to the water temp as it warms up here in the next couple of weeks.

I was out there last weekend and like Triton LB said... I got the old goose egg.  I did get a couple of bites but as soon as I would reel down to set the hook they would be gone.  I talked to the DNR that same day  (not by choice)  and they said the day before it took over 14lbs to win a tournament.  They also said that noone that day that they checked had any luck.  I do believe though with the more stable weather coming it will turn around and the big boys will start biting.</p>

It has been tough, I went to fish the tourney out of doll mtn sat, only three boats showed up that i know of because of the snow, Me and my partner fished anyways, Besides the cold and snow in the boat we caught 4 in about 3 hrs. All dinks. Went out sunday, midday and only had two one of which was 3 1/2 lbs. GOOD LUCK.
