Well today Carters lived up to her reputation LOL. We had a great turn out for the 1st Winter Touranment out of the Dam today, there were 22 boats who participated in the tournament today..... It was definetly slower today than yesterday but thats Carters for ya.....

1st place went to Bobby Ogle and Partner w/ 10.76 and big fish of 3.67. Great catch guys.

2nd place went to Earl Swinney and Hughdon Sanford w/ 10/53. They also had a nice Spot of 3.54.

3rd place went to Tony and I w/ 8.18. Slow day.

We caught a lot of fish today just couldn't ever find the good bite, around 10:30am the fog was gone and the sun broke out and never let up..... We managed around 15-20 fish today most of which were caught on worms/small jigs in 10-30ft of water..... Sorry no pics we'll get em next time. Good luck to all.

I made it there this morning, arrived about 7:30 and left around 12:30. I only caught 3 Spots, one 15 1/2", the other 2 around 12". They bit a 5" watermelon red straight tailed worm. It was tough for me. I rode around quite a bit, the lake is way down. Its a beautiful lake and like talked about on here its very deep. I talked to a fella that gave me a few tips for next time, which wont be long. I understand its a great winter fishery. Tony or Louie, maybe one day I can meet you down there and you can show me around a little.
