July 16, 2016 was a historical event in our local fishing world. That marks the first event in the state of Tennessee ever held by the CAST for Kids organization which is led by FLW pro Jay Yelas. This event was different than most kids events. It was for special needs kids and we took them out in boats rather than keeping them on the bank. They had a BLAST to say the least. Some caught their first fish and a couple even got to "drive" the boat if you know what I mean. Not all the kids that registered showed up so we had a couple extra boaters. Sorry guys.

Special thanks to Olive Garden of Cleveland for salad, spaghetti and bread and Kirk Gardner of Flowers Bakery for supplying all our snack cakes and desserts.

We will do this again next year. Don't miss it !!!!!!!!!!!

It was a good event. It was my pleasure to be involved and to supply some snack cakes. My wife really enjoyed it as well. You count on us as volunteers for next year as well. Angela said she would be glad to help get the word out in the Cleveland City Schools as soon as you select a date for the next event.
