Well I have not had the boat on the water for a couple months. We put in at Riverpark at 9:30 and fished until 1:30 water clarity was excellent and temp was 66. Water level was not at summer pool. We fished a couple holes downriver and picked up some nice Spots in the 2 to 3 lb range but it was slow and we lost several good fish while landing many small spots under a pound. Every time we thought we had a good one it turned out to be a channel cat. Fun but I personally don't like slim on my line. LOL. Sam caught the last fis. A spot about 3. He lost a good LM. Maybe 5 or 6 close to the boat. We both got to see it. My big fish was lost at the walking bridge when it jumped. Oh well. They seemed to be just barely biting the lure. There was little current. Maybe that is why. The small spots hit the best. LOL. I guess with the storms and cold front everything is going to change. Tight lines!!!
