Catalpa worms $6/dozen. My kids want to start a mini business and we have a Catalpa tree out back. Prime time right now--the worms are fat and ready.

They say Catalpa worms are the ultimate catfishing bait. Super tough skin, florescent green ooze that supposedly makes the catfish go crazy.

Flipping WURMS - 7/1/2009 8:47 AM 50 cents a peice is a little steep wouldnt you say

I was thinking the same thing. I use to have a Catalpa tree and still have access to it. I use to catch bream and small cats with them but if they are going for 50 cents a piece I believe I will have my daughter go a head and start her own business.!

Thats one heck of a business for a youngun!

would be an interesting economics lesson in my classroom. What would be the maximum amount of profit you could make at a particular price?

Maybe it is like the little girl selling lemonade for $10 a glass. A guy came by and told her should wouldn't sell many at that price. To which she replied "I only gotta sell one!"

Maybe that is really $1 for a dozen but $5 for gas to get them to you. emoAngel Jmax
