WOW, what a day !!!!!!!!!!!!! We had our biggest turnout ever for one of our regular tournament trail events this morning. We had 29 boats in total (25 duos and 4 soloists). Remember, we count people not boats. So my Bradley Central education allows me to do the simple math. That is 54 folks !!!!! Many new faces in the crowd and several old heads. We had 15 boats actually weigh-in fish and many decided not to battle Hurricane Chickamauga and went home early. This year we have instituted a three fish limit for our tournament trail, but the CATCH Challenge in three weeks will still be a five fish limit. On with the numbers. With 29 boats we paid five places, one place for big fish of the day and we also had a DQ Grill & Chill $20 gift card for biggest trash fish of the day.

1st place Barron Adams and Brian Pierce 12.48lbs.
2nd place Wes Headrick and Rod Swallows 12.38lbs
3rd place Billy Bigham and Dewayne Bigham 11.91lbs.
4th place Scott Barrera and Jamie Tanksley 11.45lbs.
5th place Jamie Wells and Matt Wiley 11.00lbs and big fish of the day 6.39lbs LM
Big Trash Fish Randy Owenby 13.65lbs drum

Thanks to all of you for great sportsmanship and fellowship. Hope many will be at the CATCH Challenge and all of you return back to Grasshopper on March 21. If you didn't make it today, come see us soon.

Those are some very good wieghts for a three fish tournament. Wished I could have been there to give a donations to those top five. emoAngel Jmax

It is my understanding that Randy's partner, John Swallows, actually caught it. I didn't list it because we don't have a big smallmouth pot when we fish on Chickamauga. We do when we fish Watts Bar. Was a really nice fish and of course it is the fish to beat in the biggest smallmouth year which is worth $500.
