We had 44 boats on a great day to be out in God's creation. As some of you know, I am an avid fisherman but never seem to catch quality. I would rather catch 50 little ones than 2 big ones. In a 3 fish limit, regardless of my partner, I have never weighed-in more than 9.26lbs. This day was AAWWEESSOOMMEE. Dewayne and I weighed in 14.78lbs and had Big Smallmouth of 4.08lbs. We only caught about 10 or 12, but six were keepers. I think I will start fishing for 10 rather than 50. I caught my PB LM of 6.17lbs. We caught all but two on the river using a square bill CB in bluegill color.
