CATCH Ministry will hold its first bass tournament of 2010 on Saturday February 6 at Sullivan's ramp on Lake Nickajack.
No locking through - you must stay on Nickajack.
Launch time is 7am/safelight and weigh-in is 4pm.
Entry fee is $20 per person - 2 person max per boat.
12 and under pay no fee, but they are part of the 2 person max.
Big fish pot is optional $5 per person, but if one partner pays the other must also.
Big smallmouth pot is optional $5 per boat.
We have a trash fish prize, but there is no entry fee for that.
Everyone, not 12 or under, pays a one-time $10 processing fee at the time of your first tournament of the year.

3 bass limit - 18" smallmouth and 15" on largemouth and spots.

$500 first place guaranteed no matter how many entries - all of our tournaments are sponsored this year.
Payout is 1 place per 5 boats.
We have $500 cash prizes for big fish of the year for smallmouth, largemouth and spot.
We have a $100 cash prize for big trash fish of the year.

We will be giving away door prizes at every tournament: including rods from John Miles and Joe Burns and Jenko jigs from Matt Jenkins.

We have 9 scheduled tournaments and you must fish 5 to qualify for the classic.

For complete listing and rules go to www.catchministry.net.

Our definition of a trash fish is - anything that is not a smallmouth, largemouth or spotted bass and is legally caught during tournament hours. Some folks don't like hauling drum, carp, catfish etc. and don't participate. Others have fun with this prize. One former sponsor insisted that we have it and he sponsored it, but he has moved to KY. We have a new sponsor and it lives on.

WE ARE FISHING SATURDAY MORNING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From what I hear, most will be practicing their casting techniques. Hopefully since not many are being caught these days, the odds will catch up to the fish and we will catch a few of them.

Bring extra clothes.
