Catfish gathering

There are some guys on the Brotherhood of Catfishing that are trying to get up a Tri-State catfish gathering on the Coosa River below Rome sometime this summer. I thought I would make a post for anyone that might be interested. I know there are several CFF guys that are also members of the BOC. It will be strictly informal camping, fishing and eating with maybe a small pot tourney or something. In case anyone is interested Georgia nonresident yearly license is only $24 and a 7 day permit is just $7. You can pm me and I will give more details as they become available.
A great time will be had by all and who knows with the fishing talent we have on the CFF there will be some good fish caught.
The Coosa is second only to the Tennessee in catfish production and a very close second I might add.

I have read a lot about those gatherings and seen the pics and those guys have an absolute blast. I have volunteered some of my cooking services for the event and depending on the turnout there will be some others too.
