Takin a good friend out tonight, anyone know about what depth to find some good cats in, around the nuke?? Appreciate any help.

A good place to start is right on top of the river channel drop. Fish some lines on the deep side and some on the shallow side.

I have done more catfishing there than anywhere else, and I can say my night-fishing SUCKS there. I just cant find them.
I believe, but have not proven it to myself that the cats are shallow, on the south side of the channel, north of the discharge. I will attempt it soon, and try depths in the 10-18 foot range, maybe even use floats, or better yet, ballons with glow sticks inside of them.

About 95% of the time they are on the bottom. 5% of the time they are in Ericm's boat.

Last time I went there at night we caught only a few. Could only catch them shallow 11-18 feet. Used CB Oh and caught one on an out-of date chunk of pork chop emoLaugh
