Catfishing at the NUKE plant 9/2/06

Got there this morning at daylight. took the wife and my 5 yr old girl. My little girl caught the 1st fish...about 2 lbs. Then my wife and I caught about 14 or 15 small ones anywhere from 1 to 6 lbs. No big ones today. At one time I counted 20 boats up there fishing. No water moving today,, maybe thats why no big ones????? I did lose one pretty good fish. we had fun and thats all that counts. We rode down to harrison bluff but I really didnt know exactly where to fish down there and the big boats coming by were about to knock us up on the bank so we decided to call it a day at about 2pm. I hope some of you guys got some big ones today.emoSmile

Harrison Bluff is the world's worst place to be after Noon on a weekend. It is Grand Central Station for cruisers up and down river, plus in and out of Island Cove area. If you fish there on weekend afternoons, just be ready to get washed away. It goes with the territory.

I'd go to the movies before going to Harrison Bluff on a holiday weekend. And I never go to movies.emoEnforce
