It's hard to believe another regular season has come and gone. We will be having our annual Classic meeting on Thursday, October 13th from 6PM-8PM at Academy Sports and Outdoors by Hamilton Place Mall. This is a mandatory meeting and at least one member of each team must be present at the meeting. Please remember to bring a toy with you for the Forgotten Child Fund. If you forget, thats ok because you can purchase something at Academy. The forgotten Child Fund is a great organization that helps children have Christmas presents that normally would receive nothing.

There are no off-limits for the Classic this year. If you finish in the top 25 in points your entry fee will be $20 for big fish. If you finish outside of the top 25 your entry fee will be double entry ($240 Blue/Yellow Card, $120 Orange Card, $180 green/tan card). We will be paying half the field this year in the Classic again. If we have 80 boats we will pay 40 places. We won't have a final count on the money until after this meeting but last year $750 was last place in the money. $10,000 for 1st place.

I look forward to seeing everyone out at Academy Sports and Outdoors, Thursday, October 13th at 6PM.

Shane I was going to post a thank you to all the officers and helpers, this looks just as good as any place to do so. I for one can tell everyone that being an officer and helper in the CBA is work. Some folks comment that it is a paid office since they get one tournament a month free but trust me, it is worth way more then $120.00 a month and a low entry blast off. emoDoh After you do it a couple years you realize real quickly it ain't easy. No year is perfect and you never can please everyone all the time. 2016 was no exception but you guys did great. Thanks for all your hard work. emoWorthy Jmax

So it looks like there is 76 teams that qualified. Does that mean you will be paying out half of that, 38 places? Or will it be based on how many actually fish it rather then qualify to fish it? emoScratch Jmax

I appreciate "ALL" that the officers and helpers do! They definitely earn what they get!

I'm good with a 10:00a.m. start and 6p.m. end.

You and Carter please go slow enough so I can keep up with you. ;) Jmax

You don't want to follow us right now! We will both be setting at the bottom of the leaderboard together. Lol

emoLaugh Yea, right, if you could keep them on you would be winning a couple right now. You just need Carter in the boat to give you a couple more lessons and you practice with the aluminum handle. emoPoke Jmax

The Forgotten Child Fund appreciates the generosity of the Chattanooga Bass Association members for the many toys that were collected Thursday evening... #itsallabouthekids ...
