Southeastern Salvage held the Chattanooga Bass Association Classic championship this weekend on November 10 th and 11 th at Chester Frost Park. This weekend anglers competed for a total purse value of over $30,000.00 in cash with $10,000.00 going to first place and a payout that would pay the top twenty places. The 2007 CBA Classic champions and top money finishers based on their two day total weights combined were as follows.

1st place Mark Riggs (Wormhook) and Robert Moore with 35.45 lbs good for $10,000.00
2nd place Ivan Haag and Jessie Bledsoe with 34.03 lbs good for $3,500.00
3rd place Allen Lewis and Troy Green with 28.73 lbs good for $2,500.00
4th place Richard Graham and Oscar Torbitt with 28.40 lbs good for $2,000.00
5th place Jeff Reed and Ray Camp with 28.17 lbs good for $1,500.00
6th place Kirk Grammar and Chris Ashler with 26.32 lbs good for $1,400.00
7th place Scott Gross and Chris Gross with 26.16 lbs good for $1,300.00
8th place Chris Coleman and Freddie Lasley Jr. with 25.46 lbs good for $1,200.00
9th place Gary Mays and Ronald Bray with 25.00 lbs good for $1,100.00
10th place Houston Shaver and Greg Shaver with 24.76 lbs good for $1,000.00
11th place Mark Varady and Mark Keith with 24.75 lbs good for $900.00
12th place Scott Rogers and Hensley Powell with 24.72 lbs good for $800.00
13th place Greg Lamb and Eddie Wilson with 24.18 Lbs good for $700.00
14th place Chuck James and Brad James with 23.69 lbs good for $600.00
15th place Gary Hutton and Greg Athchley with 23.49 lbs good for $500.00
16th placed Mark Heatherly and Stan Dickert with 23.31 lbs good for $500.00
17th place David Craft and Tracey Penney with 23.17 lbs good for $400.00
18th place Eric Clark and Lamar Milling with 22.68 lbs good for $400.00
19th place Steve Kite and Daniel Lewis with 22.29 lbs good for $300.00
20th place Tom Kizziah and Mark Hixson with 22.24 lbs good for $300.00

Saturday's big fish was a 7.26 lb large mouth caught by Greg and Houston Shaver good for an additional $280.00

Sunday's big fish was caught by Brad and Chuck James with a 5.75 large mouth also good for an additional $280.00

Saturday and Sunday's big small mouth was caught by Jeff Reed and Ray Camp with a 5.83 lb on Saturday good for $95.00 and a 5.65 lb on Sunday also good for $95.00

Saturday and Sunday's big Kentucky Spotted bass was caught by Gary Mayes and Ronald Bray with a 3.02 lb on Saturday good for $95.00 and a 2.92 lb on Sunday also good for $95.00

And our CBA points leader was Steve Kite and Daniel Lewis who also was our big fish winner of the year with a large mouth bass weighing in at 8.73 lbs bringing them an additional $500.00
