just curious, was this a BASS or FLW sanctioned event or just something the CBA is doing? Seems like alot of school in this program, which is great to see!

If it is the CBA, is it open to Georgia high school teams?

Open to any school. A Georgia school (Coahulla Creek) won the championship this year and they won the individual overall last year.

Derek....

You son goes to Cohulla creek? I thought you lived around Ringgold or LFO area?

How we did it is its open to any sanctioned school whether that be BASS, FLW, etc... Now this event was sanctioned with BASS and it acted as a tournament within a tournament for national qualifications etc... The CBA raised all sponsor money and prizes that were paid out. Next year we will be merging our event with Battle of Chickamauga and it will be a 2 day event out of Dayton. Last year we had 80 boats and this year we had 226 from 36 high schools throughout TN, GA, and AL. Chester Frost logistically cannot hold more boats than it did this weekend and with the popularity of High School fishing my fear is we won't be able to host the tournament out of Chester Frost next year.

I live in the Varnel/Cohutta area. I work in Ringgold...and spend most of my time in Ringgold. lol Also my son is in middle school (8th grader) so he doesn't actually attend Coahulla Creek yet, he will next year though. He just fishes with them right now.
