Well, as the media officer, I feel its my duty to make a few announcements here..
* The Classic is right around the corner (Oct 24 - 25th) From Safe Light to 4pm. (both days)
Looks like we will be paying out $50,000! We invite each and everyone of you to come out and watch this thing unfold. Its gonna be a good one!
* The latest news is that CBA now has a Discussion Forum! Everyone is welcome to join up and be a part of the Chattanooga Bass Association events and discussions. The forum can be found HERE</p>
I still have a few bugs to iron out but we'll get them. This is the first ever forum I've actually have hand my hands in building and not everything is perfect just now. Come join us!</p>
* The 2010 CBA Schedule will be planned immediately after the classic. We are thinking within a week no more than 2 weeks to have it ironed out.</p>
* Another year is not far away and we want to invite any new team to join up and chase after the New Team Championship. </p>
* The Classic Banquet was last night at Sportsman's Warehouse with live music from the Possum Hunter (Great Job!) and we gave away the 2009 Point Championship award to Chris Coleman and Chris Grizzle (Great year fellers!) </p>
-New Team of the Year went to Andy Parkinson and Jonathan Rayburn (Awesome job guys!) $500 </p>
-We also awarded the CBA Sponsors with a Plaque that has the winners picture, big fish winner and top 15 of the tournament they sponsored. </p>
-Soddy Custom Tackle handed out a check for $500 to Mark Varadyfor Big Fish of the season. 9 plus lb PIG! </p>
- Sportsman's Warehouse handed over a$5,000 checkfor theClassic. THANK YOU Jim Rhodes and Sportsman's Warehouse!!</p>
