The Chattanooga Bass Association is a non-profit community service organization. Chattanooga Bass Association was founded by community leaders in 1976 and was designed to offer a top quality open fishing circuit to Chattanooga and surrounding areas; while enhancing Chattanooga’s economic growth and recreational potential.

Being a non-profit community service group operated tournament we have grown to become a valuable asset to the community, being backed by over 120 sponsors from our business community.

The Chattanooga Bass Association supports such groups as The Chattanooga Marine and Trade Association, local boat shows, marine and tackle dealers. We are at times involved in helping the Shriners, Wal-Mart Dream for Kids tournament and other charity groups. The Chattanooga Bass Association also works with our State and County Governments as well as local business and other organizations. The Chattanooga Bass Association along with the efforts of the Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency was responsible for the stocking of Florida strain large mouth bass in Chickamauga Lake, Which now has become one of the top lakes in the South to come and fish.

Today we have emerged into a $130,000.00 operation enhancing the economic growth of the Chattanooga area, involving hundreds of local tournament fishermen while serving to preserve our lakes, rivers and streams for future generations to enjoy. (Copyright CBA - http://www.cbatournament.com)

The Jam Ups Hot Seat! RamJack and I will have to weigh our fish in first to get a chance to experience that one! I did almost make Ramjacks passenger seat brown in a Harrison Bay dogfight blast off once. We are looking forward to the CBA again this year. Looks like they are putting in some hard work in the off season as always.

I'd like to personally invite each of you to come out and fish with us this year. If you have not fished with us before, the "New Team of the Year Race" is a great incentive. The highest finishing rookie team in each open event earn free entry into the next event, additioanlly the New Team with the highest total points at the end of the season earns an additional $500.00!

The other officers and I have put in a lot of hard work over the past few weeks putting together a very strong sponsor line-up! Because of these great sponsors we are gonna be offering a payout of cash and prizes that is unmatched for this area! Please support these local sponsors because they support you and your fishery!

Come out and be part of the "premier" tournament trail in our area!

If anyone has any questions regarding the Chattanooga Bass Association, dont hesitate to conact me or any of the other officers.

is the entry fee still a fortune?

Hang on a minute here. The guy with a $70K boat thinks $120 per boat entry is a fortune?
The entry fee is the same as it has been for years and its 100% payback.

I can promise you I didn't pay anything near that for my boat. In tough times $120 is a lot but I plan to fish them. Who are you fishing with churly? You might be able to pick Johnny up?

I know times are tough. Thats why we have worked hard to acquire these sponsors, who have helped us to put together a deep payout of cash and prizes!

I would have thought Johnny and Tim would have paired up.? Both are great fishermen. I'm fishing with Burkhart this year.

I am looking forward to fishing my first full C B A season this year.Alot of the people that fish my tournaments fish the C B A and I would hate to miss hanging out with all my new freinds I have made over the last couple of years. I just hope my new partner dosent have a history of back pain because it will be sore after carring me all year.

Wish I could fish them, but being poor kind of hampers that. I do think the entry fee is a bit much, but from what I have read and heard from folks that fish them, they have tons of other prizes and giveaways to ease to pain . Maybe one day I can join in the fun.

Just an early THANK YOU to the officers and 2009 sponsers of the CBA. I have never been an officer of the CBA but knowing many of them over the years they never get the credit they deserve for all the time and effort they put in. Economic times are tough, as a CBA fisherman for over 25 years whether you participate in all the tournaments are just one a year let those officers and sponsers know you appreciate what they do for us. The CBA without a doubt is this areas finest tournament trail thanks again to all those who make it happen.

What are the requirements for the classic? Who has the inside scoop on boaters looking for partners?</p>
