The Chattanooga Bass Association held the Nichols Marine October Open tournament on Saturday October 13th on Lake Chicamauga at Chester Frost park. Today's top money finishing anglers caught fish in what most found to be tough conditions.

1st place Tony Townsend and Gallen James with 18.71 lbs good for $2000.00
2nd place Steve Kite and Daniel Lewis with 16.43 lbs good for $650.00
3rd place Allen Lewis with $16.41 lbs good for $500.00
4th place Jerod McMillon and J.B. McMillon with 15.07 lbs good for $400.00
5th place Greg Lamb and Eddie Wilson with 14.46 lbs good for $300.00
6th place Rolf Hofbauer and Gary Mays with 14.17 lbs good for $250.00
7th place Trever Prince and Heath Pack with 13.82 lbs good for $200.00
8th Place Scott Rogers and Hensley Powell with 13.80 lbs good for $150.00
9th place Azel Burrow and Shane Burrow with 13.44 lbs good for $100.00 worth of gift cards for Grants Sporting Goods
10th place Mark Heatherly and Stan Dickert with 13.11 lbs good for $100.00 worth of gift cards for Bass Pro shops

Steve kite and Daniel Lewis also picked up an additional $240.00 for their catch of the day's big fish with a 5.38 lb large mouth.

Also Houston Shavers picked up $80.00 by catching the big Kentucky Spotted Bass that hit the scales with 2.48 lbs
