The May CBA event was held May 09, 2009 at Chester Frost Park. The Chattanooga Bass Association would like to thank Chattanooga Fish-N-Fun for sponsoring this month’s event as well as supporting the CBA for many years. There were 87 teams that fished this month and we were able to pay cash and prizes through 55 places.
 The team of Chuck James and Brad James had the winning bag of fish weighing 24.97# to take the win and the first place check for $2,000.00. The win qualifies them for the 2009 Sportsman’s Warehouse Classic Championship if they fish at least 7 of the open tournament months. The following teams rounded out the remainder of the places in the money:

</td></tr></tbody></table></div> Chris Grant & Mike Looney had the big fish of the tournament with a giant Largemouth weighing 7.94 pounds. John Gudel & John Green had the big smallmouth at 4.67 pounds. Mario Dematteo had the big spot at 3.15 pounds.


 The next CBA will be the Turk’s Sport Shop June (night) Open June 06, 2009. We would like to invite all area anglers to participate with us on the 06th.

Hey I couldn't pull up the results on the CBA website is there anything wrong or is it just not on there yet. I wanted to see where some of the others finished. emoScratch

There is a lot of checking and double checking in doing that. It will be there but usually takes a couple days. emoAngel Jmax

Just want to thank all of those who came out for the Fish-N-Fun May Open we had an awsome turnout of 87 boats. Cash was paid out through 16 places. Noticed a lot of new faces and white cards in the mix. I hope you guys will consider trying to fish in the points next year! I think its the best team trail out there especially when you look at how we have outlasted many of the other larger events they used to have on the Chick. We work hard to make sure everyone has a good time and an opportunity to go home with something to show for it. We had one of our new teams who didn't get in the cash or prizes but was able to walk home with $300 worth of Carrot Stix Rods and boat #1 for the next day event Just because they weighed their fish and stuck around for the weigh-in. We have 5 more months and 8 more events. We have 16 more Carrot stix to hand out and lots more in cash and prizes. I hope those of you who haven't fished with us yet, will come out and get in on some of the fun. Our next event will be the Turk's Sport Shop June Open Night tournament on June 9th. We should have a full moon and the night bite will be in full swing. See you there!
