For all you anglers fishing CBAs this year, be sure to stop by Soddy Custom Tackle to sign up each Tournament.

For each team that signs up there, your names will go in a box for a end of the year drawing for a Carrot Stick.

If you sign up for all 12 tournaments at Soddy, your name will be in the draw box 12 times.

First CBA is next weekend! Come on out and fish with us or hang out at the weigh in.

Good luck to everyone. Looks like the CBA will have a great year. We thank the CBA reps. for all the hard work they have done to make this the best year ever.

Looks like lots of new teams will fish this year. It would be great to get 80-90 boats fishing the CBA again.

I picked up a Carrot stick for DEC1 thursday and Soddy has a tractor trailor load of tackle and rods on their shelves.I could stay all day in there lookin around.

soddyblue - 2/23/2009 9:37 PM What will it take to win and who are the teams to beat?

Low 20's and I would imagine Brown and Neal will be near the top. How's that for going out on a limb. :)</p>

These are great guys for sure. I'm new to the area and have always fished The Big G, but these guys have helped me re-tool for this lake. I've gone in their store to spend money on something I thought would work up here on this lake only for them to suggest something that was cheaper and better for this lake, or for something they would have in stock later on in the week (that was also cheaper). As long as they are like this, I'm done with WalMart and BassPro - I sure wouldn't be told to spend my money on a cheaper item or get the service I get with these guys at a big franchise. emoUSA

I'm pulling for Churly! He is a great young fisherman that is patient and knows that lake pretty good. I predict he will weigh in about 20 lbs.

RAMJACK and Hagen "if" the new Brush piles they have acquainted themselves with do not swim off!!! emoEvil

My guess is 28 lbs. to win CBA and it will most likely come from Nick-A-Jack. Maybe Buddy Gross? Rogne, Kite, Townsend, James, Coleman, Powell are some others that normally do well on the Chick. Good luck to all!

If the water warms as expected the weights off of chick will be just as good as those from the Jack! I expect to see a bag in the high 20's and it can come from any of the lakes.

A big thanks to Soddy Cuctom tackle and the other sponsors who have stepped up to the plate this year!

Are you sure you know Churly?? emoPoke

I am no expert by any stretch of the imagination, but this time of year it can be anybody's game. There are alot of big fish moving up shallow and on any given day someone who is just fishing can bust a big stringer of fish. This time of year is anybodys game. It would be hard to pick a winner this time of year.
