This coming weekend will be the May CBA Truck N' Trailers USA open tournament event out of Chester Frost Park. It is open to anyone who wants to fish it. Entry for an adult team is $120.00 and a youth team where at least one member of the team is 16 years of age or under is $60.00. There have been a lot of big sacks coming off the Chick so this one is stacking up to be a really good one with lots of sacks of big bass. The hours are safe light to 4 o'clock. The weigh in will start a little before 4 o'clock with the officers and helpers sacks. Come out and join the fun and watch the weigh in.

The entry forms should be at the locations by the end of today. You can register at Fish n Fun, Nichols Marine, Hamilton's Sports and Soddy Tackle. You can also register the morning of the event but there is a late fee.

Last year this one in May was won by Steve Kite and Daniel Lewis with five bass weighing in at 25.58 lbs. emoEek Coming in at a close second was the team of Jim Cofer and Matt Wendrof with 25.15, then in third it dropped down to the James Boys at 22.30. emoSmile It took over 18 lbs to get a check in this one and this year looks to be even better. emoThumbsup

Any predictions? emoConfused

I am going to guess Rogne and Allen Brown with 26.3 lbs, they are due a win and have not had one this year. emoDance Jmax

Registration information is at the locations so go by and get signed up. ;) Jmax

Last year this one drew 87 boats. The pay outs are based on paid full entries. There are usually about 8 or 10 boats that are free. One youth team winner from last month, one new team winner from last month, the points champ from last year and the officers. Each youth team counts as a half full paid entry so it take two of those to count as one. We pay out one place for every five full paid entry boats. I think last year we paid out 14 or 15 places in this one. emoScratch Don't hold me to that, I have slept since then. emoBigsmile

I would also like to remind everyone to do whatever you can to keep your fish alive. As stated in some other posts bring salt, juvi, stay alive, ice or whatever you have that will work to keep them alive. The lake is heating up in more ways then one so come prepared. emoThanks Jmax
