Put in at Holly Park at day light, water temp at ramp was around 53-54 water color light brown. Idled out towards main lake slowly to avoid debris. Nothing of interest showing on the sonar, we checked most of the places we had success last year around this time wherea the shad!?! They were thick in here last year. We started fishing alittle before the brisge and had no luck (spinner bait) water temps slowly fallig as we work our way out. We switch sides and finally find a 2lber off a dock in a pocket (spinnerbait). we fished that pocket out and goto the next, get to the back and bam 4lber eats the vision 110, here we go...fished it out and nothing else. We move on to the next pocket partner pops another 2lber on a tube and that was the last fish we caught. We stayed in soddy all day (we ran out to the main lake and didnt like qhat we saw and turned around and went back in. We observed water temps fron 51-56 and clarity from 4" to 18-24" brown stain. We fished spinnerbaits, chatterbaits, jigs, tubes,a rigs, traps, jerkbait and crankbait. still trying to figure out what we missed?

You missed when you turned around and went back in to soddy. Don't be afraid of the main lake
