Me and Skeet had a fabulous time and thanks to the guys for putting it on. We started out fishing the grass around Mullins Cove but got blown away by the wind with nothing to show. Decided to fish the old dam and I started catching some spots on the "spotsticker" and zoom finesse worm so gave some to Skeet and we stuck with it most of the day. Caught at least 2 limits of spots and one keeper largemouth. All in all a a great day, probably caught close to 20 fish total. MadBomber would have been proud of us.

Are you the guys that were laughing at me when I stuck that keeper within minutes of weigh-in? It had been nearly seven hours since I had one on...I was a bit excitedemoLaugh!

Yes that was us... We were laughing because we saw you fighting that fish and your partner looked like he just kept on fishing... Just looked funny when we were running by.... emoLaugh

Had a great time fishing with whenwegoing... Like he said we caught about 20 fish on the spotsticker and the Limiters (Choo Choo lures ..spotstickers...)

Sorry for the late report....Andrew M. and I hooked up at the last minute and put together some plans. We started out fishing 4-6 ft water with embedded grass and moved around to a shallow shoreline with a few blowdowns and some riprap. We put three nonkeepers (one being 1/8 inch short) in the boat in the first hour on a white zoom horny toad. After that we hardly had any bites until Andrew caught a 15 inch LM on a black and blue sweet beaver pitching it up against the shoreline. We fished bluffs, grasslines, rip rap, deeper water, etc with BB's, SB's, TR's, and jigs. It was a tough day but we had a great time getting to know each other better and enjoying the beautiful weather...if only the bite had been better. I saw a ton of activity near the ramp when I prefished on Friday but didn't have any success....guess I should have given it another look after all. Great job cutthroat and it was great to meet some more people from the forum. Great job to rrigsby and fishhead on the win and Davo in his consistency.emoThumbsup
