CFF #1 on The G

I'm ready for this one! Highs near or at 70 and overcast/rainy for next Saturday. Three days later is a full moon, so there ought to be some feeshes moving - and eating!

I'm gonna throw a 1/64oz Roostertail (which I 've modified by removing 1/112oz of lead and replaced the hackle with pure beaver pelt) tipped with an Uncle Joshin'ya eel strip in hot pink. This combo is best fished with some 25 year old Shakespeare mono (40 lb test ~ age-weakened to 2lb) that has been wrapped around a 16oz can of PBR ... for your reel, of course. I'm gonna take ya'lls money on that and then steal BBass's Triscuits and wine coolers at the weigh-in. Come get you some...

Jerry, that sounds like the blind leading the blind. I dont think I'll be able to get down there this week any. The great thing about that place is that you just never know what the day will be like until you start fishing. I'm looking forward to it.
