Chilly morning, at least it wasn't freezing. Mike and I ran up the lake to a starting spot. Mike was tossing a jig, put three keepers inthe boat in the first hour. I was throwing a brush hog or a jig. Just a couple taps. Mike gets another spot, we cull up about half pound. Run to second spot, couple of shorts. Run up to Harrison Bay, nothing here either. The drop in the lake was visible. We guessed the fish pulled back to a little deeper water, did not find them. Back to the first two spots to see if they reloaded. They id not. Weighed in our early limit, about five and a half. Threw jigs, senko, brush hog, crankbait, swimbait. Water was mid 50's, some current, 55k. Of coursre , the sun was out and wind died while we were at weigh in. I beleived the Kilgo's won. Congrtas Patrick and Dusty, big largemouth. Billy and Steven had big smallmouth and big spot.
