Anoter great turn out and well ran tournament this morning! Thanks to all the anglers that came out to fish.

Ya, I guess it's possible to weigh in a limit of spaaatz to get close to 3 lbs emoLaugh emoLaugh
We took some extra time to measure a spot we caught... making sure it was 15" .... tagged it and bagged it emoCool

Then Kaizer asked..... "aren't 12" spots legal?" .... emoDoh emoGoofy

HAD A GREAT TIME TODAY FISHING WITH KATHY IS ALWAYS A BLAST WE WENT TO THE GRASS FRIST AND DIDNT CATCH A KEEPER . WENT DEEP AND CAUGHT OUR 2 KEEPERS.GLAD FAT ALBERT GOT TO SEE US WEIGH OUR BIG STRINGER IN. THANKS DD22FISH emoFish emoFish emoFish emoFish

You guys don't know what a small 3 fish limit is. 2 years ago in one of the dogfights at the Riverpark AlvinC and I won with 3.88 lbs. We also had big fish. Can you guess the weight? How about 1.5 lbs kicker fish!!! 

I don't think a 3 fish winning limit will ever beat that one.

And yes, they were all spots.

Yea good times today. Even got to balance the tan out somewhat.. lol I made sure my spot was over 15 today also.. I always forget we can weigh in a 12 inch...

Was a fun day fishing with a real good fisherman and a nice guy.. Would have never thought we would finish 8th with our bag but I will take it out of 30+ boats thats not to bad .. Thanks for the ride Bill glad we were able to fish together finally.. also got a good leson in fishing Senkos today and that was worth a lot

Had a good time fishing the tourney today and thanks to those who organized it! It was definately a long day for such a short tourn. That is the toughest tourn. we have had in a long time. We caught short fish and struggled all day to find keepers and only had one to weigh in! emoBang Still had fun fishing with my son though.

Thanks to all for their time and work to put this tournament on. It was well organized and really fun to fish.

It was good to meet some new members and put some faces with their screen names.

And Al, you should get FA to manage your Monkey Dust sales. After he told us he put it on everything, even his eggs, Trackerd2 and me had to rush over and get in line to buy some. emoHungry

I bet Gus will like it on his treats, if trackerd2 don't keep it all for himself ! emoPoke

I'm glad to see it was a tough time for everyone else. Any thoughts on what made such a tough bite? I assumed the colder temps may have created a more severe case of lock jaw.

As always thanks to the TX staff and everone else who came out and fished. It sure was a tough day to find any decent fish but man what a pretty morning to be on the water. Good to see old friends and meet some new ones also. Wasnt sure I was going to make it till the last minute, there has been a lot going one in my life, but it is getting better. emoToast

I'm glad it was tough for everyone else. We managed 1 keeper only in an area where I killed'em last week. At least we won the Big Fish Pot.

Had a blast as usual seeing everyone again and fishing with DD22fish where there is always sometime of excitement when we fish together. Yesterday I was fortunate to catch our second keeper and last keeper, tough day for us, but as I lifted him in the boat the first swing was good but then he swung back out over the water, the hooks get caught on the Lowarance that's mounted on the side of his boat with the fish flipping and flopping everywhere, Gary hollering "good lands kathy what are you doing" of course I responded, adding a little excitement to a extremely tough day. I was amazed it was that tough for everyone. I figured someone would come in with that 12-14 lb sack but not yesterday obviously.....Thanks again to the folks who ran the tx blasting off and weighing in. Well done guys.
