Guntersville was a hot, hot showdown. Very impressed with the fish weighed in. Congrats to Tater and partner for a excellent sack. We had 11.5 lbs. for the day. Began by throwing a buzzbait across from the ramp in scattered milfoil. Caught 1 keeper and missed 3 other fish. After the top water bite shut down Went to the main river channel outside of Roseberry and began flipping hydrillia mats with a Yum cram and wooly bug on a 1.5 oz weight. Caught 2 more keepers and and 3 missed strikes. The bite really shut down after that. Moved above the BB comer bridge and fished DT 10 Crank and flipped. Had a LDR on a nice keeper with the crank. Went back to the grass were we had the 2 keepers, but nothing. Decided to move closer to the ramp with thirty minutes to go in the tournament. Fish a ditch in the grass across from the marina. Caught my last to keepers within 10 minutes and my best fish on a 10.5 inch ol monster worm (a.k.a the guntersville standby). Should have never cranked th bid motor the way it appears.

NEXT TIME I GUESS I NEED TO GET A LONGER ROD!emoLaugh

Hey man,

Great post, and I need to find that ditch in roseberry!

Good to meet ya, and I'll keep my eyes open for a job round here.

Good post BadBass and you were wise to not spend the gas CCSM and I did. We must have used $100.00 worth of gas between the outboard and the truck on that Tx. We would have done just as well staying around the ramp.emoLaugh Jmax
