8 Ball - 10/4/2009 8:16 PM is it a requirement to fish with a partner or can we fish solo?

Austin, you are welcome to fish alone as Billy stated, however if there are any non-boaters who qualify and need a boater, we will make every effort to help them fill a backseat. Thanks, Al

So if you fish with a partner it is $60.00, but if you fish by yourself it is only $30.00. emoScratch

Did I understand that the payouts were doubled on this one, so instead of first being $200.00 it is $400.00? or are you guys just going to pay out more places? emoScratch

The way I read it the money is not per boat as it has been for the other events but per angler, therefore one guy is I guess half the price of the normal 2 angler boat.

antman1331 - 10/4/2009 11:00 PM you left me off the list... I fished the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, and the 9th one... check it...

I'll check that tonight Anthony. Thanks!

Jim you are correct on both counts. We will keep the payout structure the same. Thanks, Al

Well....kinda....

The thing I see here is if you fish with a partner you have a chance to have two hooks in the water at all times and you have the benefit of a net man. However if you want to go for the money and fish by yourself you have a chance to win a pot that you do not have to split for half the price a team is paying. emoScratch Kind of a weird way of doing it but then again if you are on fish and do not want to share that spot you are also not penalized by having to pay $60 for your boat to fish by yourself. If all 33 anlgers show with or without a partner the money in the pot will still be $30 for each angler. I have never seen a tournament done this way in all the years I have fished them but we shall see how this all pans out in the end. emoRolleyes Jmax

Jim, you are correct again!

Sounds fine to me AL. Me and Taz will be there. I like the idea of having two hooks in the water vrs one by yourself. If you are not on fish then you can have two offerings at a time to hopefully find what they are hitting. Then the net man is always a nice thing if you get that kicker on. The pay out of $400.00 for first is still not bad for a two man team. emoAngel

Anyone that is qualified for this one that needs a ride better be speaking up so you can fish it with someone that needs a partner. emoThumbsup

Looking forward to it. emoAngler Jmax
