CFF Crappie Tournament for Chattanooga Forgotton Child Fund

We will be doing a Crappie tournament this year for the Chattanooga Forgotton Child Fund. It Will be held At Harrison Bay State Park on Saturday October 17th. Registration will be from 5:15 am until 6:15 am . Blast off will be at 6:30 am and weigh-in will be at 11:30 am. There will be a 7 fish limit per boat. Entry fee is 25.00 per person. 2 People per boat max.We also ask that you bring atleast one new unopened toy to donate to the chattanooga forgotten child fund. There is also an optional 5.00 per boat big fish pot.... I would like to be there I have a boat and VERY little experience crappie fishing so If there is anyone who would like to ride with me lets go. Maybe I will learn something and help out a good with a good cause at the same time.

i'm sure you will find someone to fish it with you... there are lots of people on here that are good crappie fishermen but don't have a boat right now.so finding someone to fish it with you and help you learn more about crappie fishing shouldn't be a problem

Well the crappie are biting good from what i understand. So should be good in oct .

Just to make things clear to everyone....anykind of bait allowed including live and trolling is ok also..... there are not really many rules at all. the fish have to be legal keepers, no more than 7 per boat and the fish have to be alive.....

I would like to let everyone know that i tried 3 different printing companies to copy the flyers for the tx and none of them wanted to donate their time. I called copy connection on 58 hwy and the owner Wade said he would be glad to donate his time to help out such a good cause. It just shows the big chains are about themselves and not helping others. If you want help or donations be sure to go with local companies. Thanks to Wade and his wife @ copy connection for their help making the flyers ......

Nice to see a company donate a little time.. you know this couldnt cost him very much.. pretty sad other companies turned it down..
