CFF final plans

Help Support Chattanooga Fishing Forum:

Brandon, would you elaborate on the "two pass rule" since it was your suggestion, so everyone can have a clear understanding. Thanks, Al

Its too hard getting everyone together on a weekday. Why dont we just throw up the rules and format in here and put it to a poll or something.

Can Robpost the rules and payout?

The schedule is something we need to work on. We have the cba dates and I guess if i can get the area schedule from Coleman (cba pres) we can work arond the other stuff. Rules are pretty standard stuff and i think we have them online here somewhere. The format is what we need to make sure we have right. Post #s , payout, ect ect...

Anyone heard from Rob? I havent seen him online much.

Brandon, do you know where the rules and such are for CFF Tournaments? I cant seem to find them.

2 Passes Thought

We have a post rule per boat (lets say 150)

To encourage new members to get involved we will allow each new member 2 passes. These passes will allow his boat (if need be) to fish without having 150 posts. Hopefully within the 2 months he/she uses those two passes they can accumulate posts (hopefully valuable posts) or find a partner on the forum that will qualify him.

Each member only gets 1 opportunity to use passes in that season. To explain further,If he uses the passes in 2009 season he can not get passes again in 2010 if he doesn't meet the post rule.

How does that sound???

Will there be a minimum post count to qualify for a pass... or will any member that's registered be allowed to use one, even if they've never posted at all?

I agree Brandon 100%

Taz - I think we settled on any guest being able to have two passes, with no requirements other than neing a guest at least once with a qualified member. Then and only then would they get a guest pass. Then if they haven't met the requred 150 or found a partner that gets them over the 150 mark, then they are done until they do one or the other.

So if you bring a guest in Feb, he can fish the March and April Txs in his own boat if he wishes. But if he hasn't met the 150 mark by the May Tx, he's S.O.L. until he does so

My thought is, passes are available to anyone who has registered on CFF. If there is a cherry picker, he'll quickly realize that the payout isn't worth his energy.

I seriously think the payout will discourage all cherry pickers..LOL. I cant see any of those local guys fishing and running all day for 200 bucks. Just my 2 cents worth. ;)

Branodon, do you have the link to the rules on CFF? I cant see that part of the site folders since we moved to this server.

Bprice - 11/15/2008 3:53 PM I fully support any decisions ya'll make, and will do my best to fish as many as I can.

Me too. We are working long days and six days a week. Too hard to make it to the meetings. Everything can be voted on with polls. Billy can put the polls up I believe.
