Man it started out slow and tough for me and JDK and pretty much stayed that way all day! We started out at the mouth of Goose Pond, nada. I was surprised at all the boats going up river?! Both from our group and the other Tx's from down river towards Goose Pond and Waterfront!? We didn't get a lick until 10 am over at the islands at South Suaty, 4 lb. I think, on a trap. Then later a 2 lb. And I'm thinking we're in business now! Wrong! Later Josh has a good fish on, I'm going for the net and it unbuttons! Josh hooks up again! 14 1/2 in. ! Dang! That's it! We threw every color, brand and shape of rattle bait to be thought of! Several different / colors of jerk baits, {which I thought was going to be the "thang" today}, not a touch! Spinner baits, shallow cranks, senkos, and a swimming jig. Water was 40 / 41 degrees in most parts. We fished from dirt to 6 fow. We had 25 boats in the Tx, {three fish Tx} and 10 were skunked. And in parting, I just want to say thank you TVA for killing such a great fishery in Roseberry. It's ruined from your the grass kill! Bastards! But ya' ll got some pretty houses there!
